What are quinces used for? These yellowish fruits. Jam?

I've used them in marmalades, as a glaze over cheesecake and flans. They are also good with pork.
Reply:Yes jam.. Here in Spain we have a product called membrillo which is like a fruit paté. You use it like jam.
Reply:Where I used to work they made a dresing from it but it is also used in different types of desserts.
