How do I make a boring outfit, not so boring?

Okay, so i bought a dress for my friends quince. Its purple, and strapless. Im wearing black heels with it, but supposibly EVERYONE is wearing purple. And I just HAVE TO BE the center of attention. So i need to know what to do to my outfit to make it a little better then everyone elses.

Reply:Make sure your makeup is perfect, and that it stands out. Wear a pair of dangle earrings, and some cute bracelets. Dont wear a necklace, as this will "over do it".

Add some nice jewellery...Like a chunky bracelet.

Try some vibrant eyeshadow (maybe even go to a makeup counter to have yours done and ask for some stylish bright makeup) and try some glitter or shimmer so you shine =) So, dont worry if the dress itself doesnt make you the center of attention, if you make the rest of you GLOW all eyes will be on you! Just dont go over overboard and look tacky.
