Help! What do you need for a quince?

This is the 1st quiñce we plan....what is it that I need? Can some one please make me a list of things I need?

lol. Your spelling is as bad as mine. A quince is a fruit from a tree. So you need a quince seed, some dirt, water, sun, and about 10 years. Good luck!
Reply:Not sure what you mean. I thought a quince was a pear shaped fruit kind of yellow-orange in colour.
Reply:Please pardon my ignorance, but what is a quince? Is that not a small pear shaped fruit that is very hard that is often used to make jams and preserves? I assume by the location of this question it is something different.
