Going to a quince....HELP?!?

My friend's quince is tonight and i'm not in it, but i'm going to it. i'm not going to wear a dress, i don't think many of the guests do that...but is it okay for me to wear just like a nice top and jeans? or a nice top in black pants? how dressy should i look..? i don't wanna look like a slob, but i don't know how dressed up to be. so if you could explain what people do and should wear to a quince, please do! ten points!! thanks

Okay, usually quince's are very very formal..i've been in about four. But if you're not in it then, you don't necessarily have to get "dressed up". You could wear a nice shirt, jeans, and nice shoes.. But DO NOT wear tenny shoes. That's a big no no. But no, you don't have to be very dressy. Most of the girl's friends that are going won't be very dressed up anyway.

If I were you, I would wear a dress. DONT wear jeans. Head to Jcpenney or something. They have cute dresses. Quinces are usually very formal and you would feel out of place in jeans.
