Quince help?

Im having a Quinceanera next year, and i have three themes stuck in my head and i dont know which one is better.


1) A masquerade theme, all of my court will have on masquerade masks and the colors will be black and white.


2) Black and white and red roses. My damas will have on red dresses in contrast to the rest of everything and the guys will either have on white or black tuxes, with red underneath.


3) Hollywood, like on every table there will be little grammys and ill have stars and stuff around. The colors will be red gold silver black.


Also if you have any other suggestions it would be great. I only want intelligent answers please. And please keep in mind that im not the richest person.


Another question! should i have it over spring break or during summer break?

I would say go with Hollywood theme because there is just so much you can do with it. My daughter is having this theme for her sweet 16. She got a medium size hall for 500 for 5 hours. She is having 100 kids. You did not mention if you were having a big party of a house party. She bought a red carpet and we are getting a Hollywood Photo setting from Stumps Spirit and there are some Paparazzi cut outs we will put along the red carpet. You can get cheap basic card invite for hollywood or movie type theme. We got some really nice ones from an EBay store called Hollywood Nostalgia ticket invites and they are 1.00 a piece. There are so many sites with Hollywood theme like shindigz and hollywood megastore. I was lucky and we have an outlet store here and they had a lot of the stuff on those sites for quite a discount. There is a Hollywood theme decoratoins that is a black plate with the word Hollywood across it and it is in black silver and Gold and they also have latex balloons that say Hollywood on it. We are going to use just 3 plain latex balloons in silver, gold and black with one taller star shaped balloon that says Hollywood across it to float higher than the rest. We will put these in a bunch and attach them to curling ribbon that is attached to a Hollywood theme centerpiece which you can find at stumps or the hollywood sites. We are having 10 tables that seat 8 each and we are having black and metallic gold table tablecloths. This is a dance. We are having a DJ. Also, look up scene setters. These are big plastic murals that take up big walls and they look really cool. We are having guests wear black and white semi formal and the star birthday girl is wearing red. we found a nice cake at \cinderalla cakes but there is also a plain flat sheet cake that they put a clapboard and a pair of sunglasses on it and cut out the hollywood sign and put it on the cake. Go on Google images and yahoo images and look up holllywood cake and movie cakes for ideas.
Reply:i think you should go with masquerade, but with different colors. have you seen that one episode of my super sweet 16 where the girl had a venetian masquerade themed quince? those colors would look really good.i think the colors where like light green nd some sort of pink. nd then you could make the masks yourself, which would be really cheap nd then you can actually choose how you want them to look or you can hire someone to make them for you. over summer break would be better tho, cuz the weather would be nicer. good luck tho =)
