Quince or cruise??

I'm 14 years old and Cuban. It's a traditional to have a quinceanera (sweet 15) but they are also very expensive like thousands of dollars. My cousin recently had one that was $20,000. My mom gave me an option to have the quinceanera party or go to Miami and ge pictures taken in my quince dress and make an album and while we were still there go on a cruise. Or we could stay at a hotel on the beach for a week. I don't know which to choose. The quince is one night but very memorable and the cruise and hotel are a week and fun. someone help me to some what come to a decision!!!!

Reply:My cousin did her quinces on a cruise and they are lots of fun..they take pictures of you like crazy and they give you a video of all the days on the cruise with all of the quinceaneras at the end of the trip.The only bad part is the other girls doing they're quinces on the same cruise...im doing mine on a cruise...i think its fun but remember its your time to shine..so do what you want to do the most...and by the way there is nothing really that specail about staying in a hotel in miami beach( by the way they are always remodeling things in miami beach...its kinda retarted..but the night life is awesome i have to admit) ....I'm 14 too and i've lived in miami all my life and i've gone to miami beach atleast 100 times and trust me the beaches that you will go to on the cruise are a trillion times better than miami beach...miami beach is full of people and there are lots of pinchy rocks in the water....i dont like it..so whatever you choose HAVE FUN you only turn fifteen once!!! hope i helped =D

Reply:You would love the cruise. How about having a quince party on the cruise. You could do it on formal night, have a beautiful dinner, then off to a show. If you tell the cruise company it's your quinceanera, they usually do something special just for you like balloons and a special dessert at your dinner table. Later you could also go dancing or if they have it on the ship you go on, the teen nightclub. Princess cruise ships have these type of clubs. Oh yea, you can also get fresh, beautiful flowers sent to your cabin too and a corsage.

IT IS ONE WEEK OF PARTIES WHIHC YOU GET TO SHARE WITH FAMILY AND FRIENDS. TO GET TO SHINE DURING THIS TIME. EVERYONE IN THE SHIP WILL KNOW THAT YOU ARE TURNING THIS IMPORTANT STAGE IN YOUR LIFE. Reply:I would choose the cruise. It would be cheaper, a week long event instead of one day and probably a lot more memorable, plus you'll get to visit different places.
Reply:wow...thats a hard one...I would say Quince though because its your passage into woman hood you know?? you can always save up money later on to go on a cruis... it would probably be more important to your other family members too if they are very traditional
