What does quince taste like?
Good Question:
Quince can only be eaten after cooking.....they taste like a cross between an apple and a pear to me.....Quince jelly.....that takes me back........

Reply:I think they are rather bitter, after cooking it mellows the bitterness and picks up the sweetness of the cooking liquid. I like quince jelly, it perks up the tastebuds.
