We have been invited to a quince anos party, and are not sure what kind of gift is appropriate. Coming from a different cultural background, we want to do the right thing. Are cash gifts ok? Or what? If cash, what is an appropriate amount for the daughter of an aquaintance, not a close friend.

I think cash is an appropriate gift.For a 15 year old girl I would think $15-$20 would be a good ammount to give.

Reply:At this age, one gift will be cherished by the young lady... a very nice scrapbook. All young girls love to keep things from this time in their lives. She will enjoy having those memories the rest of her life. :)
